Aloha!

Have you joined McAllen and Joe on their adventures yet? If so, this is the place you can find news about my progress on their next installment.

Book 1: White Marbles

There isn’t trouble in paradise…

…which is great for everyone but private investigators like McAllen Clark. His business is struggling, so when he gets a job offer from the wealthy owner of Honolulu’s new Brownwood Grove Hotel, McAllen jumps on it.

At first, the job isn’t to his liking. All McAllen has to do is keep an eye on the hotel owner’s gullible younger brother who has a tendency to make all the wrong friends. Not exactly what PI dreams are made of.

When trouble finally comes in the form of a tearful young woman with a suspicious necklace, things quickly start to get a lot more interesting.

Quote of the Month

“What do I want you to do?” Jameson said. “You’re the PI. As long as you don’t get the police involved until it’s unavoidable, do whatever you think is best.”

“I don’t know why you won’t let me call them this time. Joe isn’t accidentally abetting a crime as far as we can tell. It’s more likely that he’s the victim of one.”

Brownwood Grove Book 2 Progress

McAllen is staying busy managing the hotel and solving new cases. His next three adventures will be out this summer in a trilogy of stories.

“Lead Elephants” is through the first round of edits, “As She’s Painted” is ready to begin the revision process, and “Con Tiki” is almost through the planning phase.
