About Me

Hello! I’m Lindsay, aka L.D. Christianson.
I’m a computer-programmer-in-training with way too many things to do in my limited free time.
I’ve loved “writing” in some form since was a kid, even if it was just making up stories to act out with my stuffed animals. My first book was “The Dance,” followed up by its sequel “The Veggie Dance,” both lovingly transcribed by Mom. Writing remains one of my favorite hobbies and I’ve published a novella, several articles, and this blog.
Even though this is a blog and therefore writing-heavy, there are many other things I enjoy doing. I love music, whether I’m listening to it or playing it on the piano or guitar. I also enjoy various arts and crafts. When I say I’m bored, it’s probably just indecisiveness.
This blog doesn’t have a schedule or a theme. Who knows what I’ll post or when. But if you want to keep up with me and my writings & ramblings, stick around.
Fun Facts
- I’ve always loved old things. My favorite decade is the 1930s
- I’m always listening to music. Most likely jazz, swing, bossa nova, or 70s folk/rock
- My all-time favorite books to read are British mysteries from the interwar years (20’s & 30s)
- I like TV shows better than movies. My favorite era of television is the 1960s. My favorite genres are sitcoms, mysteries, and sci-fi.
- My least favorite subject in school was literature. It felt like reading on an obstacle course, and most of the books weren’t my style.
